Amy Trealor ( The main character) had kicked off her shoes and got on a bench to try to find her little sister Louann who had always held on to her mother's hand when they went shopping. She was trying to make a new friend with a new girl named Ellen Kramer. Then, Amy went over to leave her sister by the puppet show. She was relieved that Louann was not by her side but she still had to keep an eye on her.  She did a bad job of watching her anyway.Amy took louann away from the puppet show and left her by the flower shop and Louann started picking flowers. Then the florist yelled at Amy for letting Louann do it. And when they arrived home Amy got yelled at again by her mom for not watching her very well.

In the beginning of chapter 2, Amy was running outside and decided to go to her Aunt Clare's house.  When she arrived her Aunt Clare did not hear her come in and the house seemed very empty until she heard her Aunt Clare call from the attic.  After visiting with her Aunt Clare she seen something covered with an old sheet.  After she took the sheet off she found a model of her Aunt Clare's house that she lived in when her Aunt was a child.   She enjoyed looking at all the miniature details on the furniture and discovering the colorful rooms.  The dollhouse brought back many memories to her Aunt Clare from her childhood.  Amy listened to the story of how Aunt Clare wanted a photograph and piano, but instead received a dollhouse for her 15th birthday.

Amy starts talking about Louann and what happened at the mall and how she is tired of losing friends and how her mom is mad at her.Then Aunt Clare suggested Amy staying with her for company and so she can get away from Louann.When Aunt Clare talked to Amy's dad about it he didn't say yes or no.So Amy has to go home and talk about it and see if the answer is yes or no.

In this chapter Amy was not feeling confident with Louann. When Amy came home Louann was trying to give Amy her favorite jar. Amy did not want it but she took it any way. When Amy was talking to Aunt Clare she heard Aunt Clare say she was becoming really lonely. So Amy wanted to move in with Aunt Clare. When she asked her mom she freaked out.  But The next day she had convents her mom to stay with Aunt Clare. So when Amy's father asked if she was set Amy said yes, but she didn't know what it meant.

At the beginning of chapter 5 Aunt Clare showed Amy the room that she was staying in and showed Amy the closet that was in her room.Then Ellen said how weird it was not seeing any neighbors at all.Then Amy showed Ellen the attic. Then dragged her to the dollhouse in the corner and Ellen was stunned as much as Amy was when she saw it.After that Amy looked around and found a little wooden box beside the dollhouse and inside were four dolls the tallest was six inches.Ellen and Amy picked them up and put the dolls on the dinning table.Amy had noticed her aunt's voice changed every time she spoke of the dollhouse.At the end Amy thought the Grandma Trealor doll moved from the circle dinner table to the parlor in the dollhouse.

At the beginning of chapter 6 Amy and Ellen were outside talking with Amy's Aunt.  They then heard ruckus from the front yard and thought it was raccoons digging into the trash cans.  It turned out to be raccoons.  After laughing about scaring them off, they went inside and talked about Amy and Ellen's birthday.  Aunt Clare decided to have a double birthday party for both of their birthdays and Aunt Clare is making the pizza.   When Amy went to bed that night, she thought about all the things that had happened since she had been at Aunt Clare's and how creepy the dollhouse still made her feel.

In chapter 7 Amy talks about Ellen and Amy's double birthday party. Then Amy asked Aunt Clare about what happened with Great Grandma and Grandpa Trealor dieing. Aunt Clare was afraid to talk about it. So Ellen and

Amy went to the library to find out what happened to them.They looked at newspapers from the year they died. As they read  they found out they were murdered.

In chapter 8 they just found out how great grandma and grandpa Trealor died.Then they found out that her boy friend died that same night. So when she got home Ellen called and they started talking about it and Aunt Clare heard her.And Aunt Clare got mad because she thought they were gossiping. At the end of the chapter. Aunt Clare went up to the attic and the dolls were in the same spot in the night of the murder.

  At the beginning of chapter 9,  Amy's text books were in the kitchen were she had dropped them. They had been picked up by Amy while her aunt was in the living room watching t.v. on her little portable  she had brought from Chicago.When Amy had passed her aunt  they both never looked at each other.The room 

was chilly.The room reminded Amy of her room at home which has one thing to remind her of Louann ( her vase).

She was so scared and she hasn't been so scared in her life.I have to stay even if Aunt Clare is mad at me so i can

figure out the mystery.When Amy dreamed she saw Louann and Mrs.peck and Mrs.peck shooed her away.Amy was so scared when she saw the doornob turn but it was just Aunt Clare.The raccoons were back and Aunt Clare wanted to apologize.Amy was so  scared she could not stop shivering.Amy had a nervous stomach that is why she didn't stop shaking.The apologize andwent to bed.

Amy had gone back home to get some things for her pizza party.  She had missed her house and enjoyed how it looked and smelled.  When Louann and her mother came home Amy was happy to see them until she mentioned the party.  Louann wanted to come to the party and their mother made Amy feel guilty for not wanting her to come.  Amy also didn't understand why she felt protective of Louann when her mother said that Mrs. Peck was going to teach her things that Marissa is doing.  Amy went back to Aunt Clare's house and didn't know where she would run to when Aunt Clare left for Chicago.

In chapter 11 Amy Had just Came back from her house and now was in Aunt Clare's house again.They started baking the fudge,Carmel corn,pizza,Bought potato chips,and made the special dip for the chips for the double birthday party for Amy and Ellen.The they started Asking each other if they had all the ingredients for the birthday food.Then at 9:00 o'clock pm. After they finished baking Aunt Clare asked Amy to get blankets from the attic for Ellen.Amy didn't want to get the blanket from the attic because she didn't want to see the dollhouse.But She did anyway the parlor little in the dollhouse was on.

In this chapter it was Amy's B-day. But her Aunt thought she looked really bad. But Amy didn't wont to be sick on the night of her sleepover night. And Amy had  a birthday cake and Aunt Clare was trying to  get her to eat it.Then she went up to play with the dollhouse she moved everything were she wonted it to go. But Amy was shaking when she reached for the grandma doll and she finally reach the latch and she flipped it.

In chapter 13 at the beginning Amy had just came downstairs where Louann was watching Aunt Clare rolling some pizza dough. After a while two girls showed up and the party had begun. Amy had her aunt's make up and when she put it on one of her friends said it looked like crayon was on her eye-brows. Then Crissie ( one of Amy's friends) had layed out fortune cards. Then Ellen had mentioned the dollhouse and Louann just had to see it but Amy said no but then Aunt Clare had convinced them to go see it. When all of them got there to the dollhouse Ellen let Amy go ahead. When Amy opened the sheet everyone starred at it.Then they left and Louann said good-bye to everything.

In chapter 14 it was the end of Amy's double birthday party with Ellen.  Louann was sleeping with Amy in her bedroom. In the middle of the night Amy woke up to find Louann out of bed. Amy looked down the hall and found the attic door open. She went to the attic and found her sister by the doll house looking at the dolls. One of the dolls were crying Luann had said. Also the books on the bookshelf had fallen. So after that statement Amy ordered for her sister to go back to bed. So they went back to bed.

In Chapter 15 they had just woken up and were eating breakfast.Before they had woken up All doll was crying in chapter 14 in the parlor in the dollhouse.That day after they had ate breakfast  they had a picnic in Rainbow Falls.Then when they were on their way to Louann had said"The dolly cried and books fell off the shelf." then they played in rainbow falls and talked about eh doll house and ghost. Also after they played around they headed back home.When they got Aunt Clare's house was mad because she thought Amy or Ellen had moved them into their murder spots again. Lastly Amy and Louann told her about all the dollhouse mysteries.

In this chapter Aunt Clare thought that it was her boy friend that killed her grandma and grandpa.  And they were going on about who killed who. They could not find  out  who did it. But Her boy friend was killed the same night as her grandma and 

he still could of killed himself for killing Grandma Trealor. Who knows, do you? 

 

 

Chapter 17

In chapter 17 at the beginning the storm had centered over the house and Louann was very scared because she heard a big thunder and screamed for Amy name.Then Amy thought that the dollhouse was trying to tell her something so she tried to leave Louann downstairs in her bed but Louann wanted to go with her to be safe with her.Before they went upstairs they checked to see if Aunt Clare was asleep because she did not want them to go upstairs and when the coast was clear both Amy and Louann went upstairs.When they got up in the attic Louann wanted to turn the light on but Amy said that if light was on in the dollhouse they would know.When saw the dollhouse the grandma was in the parlor facing at the bookshelve and it was crying and Amy did not know because of the rain.She thought that the haunted dollhouse was in her imagination as the grandma's little china hand went in to Amy's hand.Then she thought the mystery was not a murder it was something else.

 

Chapter 18

In chapter 18 the storm continued and Amy and her sister went to tell Aunt Clare what they saw in the attic. Aunt Clare took they downstars  to have hot cocoa.Then Aunt Clare told Amy to put her hand on the books the same way grandma had done. Louann was taking books off the table when she found a note in the book. The note said that the person who killed Aunt Clare's grandma and grandpa was Reuben. The person who took care of their yard. Aunt Clare was happy to find out the truth.

 

Chapter 19

In chapter in chapter 19 Amy, Louann, and Aunt Clare are very happy they found out who murdered Aunt Clare's parents or Grandpa and Grandma Trealor. That day Amy's and Louann's parents came to pick them up from Aunt Clare's house. They all were really happy to see each other after being away from them for a week or a couple days.Then Amy told Louann that she could go to Mrs. Pecks house or stay with Amy and they would have fun.

Then Aunt Clare told Amy's dad to come up to the attic to show him the dollhouse that she had when he was little.

When they got up there the dollhouse was open and the dolls were in the spots Amy and Ellen had put them the night before the party. Then Aunt Clare told Louann that she could have the dollhouse if it was ok with her parents. Amy's parents said yes so Louann got the dollhouse to take home with her. Aunt Clare gave it to Louann because she thought Amy would not have fun with the dollhouse so she gave it to Louann so she could have fun with it and play with as much as she wanted.
