Chapter 1 theme would have been responsibility and honesty. Amy showed how responsible she was when she and Ellen took her sister, Louann, to the mall and helped look after her. Amy also showed responsibility when she paid for the flowers that her sister had broken. The second theme was honesty because as soon as Amy got home she explained to her mother about her sister and the broken flower. She told her mom she was not paying attention when it happened. She also explained to her mother about how she does not like taking care and looking after her sister all the time.

The Theme for chapter 2 is curiously because Amy was curios about a lot of things like, what was around the corner when she was in the attic with her Aunt Clare. Who was in the house when she and many more things. For example, she was really curious when she found the dollhouse in the attic and how it came to be her aunt's.Also she wanted to know a little bit more about her aunt's side of the family and what the dollhouse had to do with it.She also had many questions about the dollhouse and was hoping that her aunt could answer most of them.

In chapter 3 the theme was remembrance because Amy was at Aunt Clare's House and this brought back many memories. She also found out more memories about her Great Grandma that she didn't know before.
Also,when they were talking about the doll house they found in the attic and the way Aunt Clare was talking about the house. But then she started talking about how her Great Grandma and Great Grandpa-Trealor use to play with her until he past away. That's how this chapter is remembrance.

Explanation: Amy is excited because she gets to go over to her Aunt Clare's. Also she is able to get away from her sister, Louann, and she might be able to look and play with the doll house. Amy has always been looking after Louann do to her disabilities. Louann is sad because she wants to be with Amy everywhere she goes. Also Louann dosen't want to go to Mrs. Pecks because she "hates"her.

Explanation: The theme for chapter 5 is friendship because Amy invited Ellen over to her Aunt Clare's house. Ellen had never been to a country house before and Amy showed her around .And couldn't wait to show Ellen the dollhouse in the attic. They played with the dollhouse for a long time and was amazed by the dishes, candlesticks and how real the dolls seemed.

Explanation: The theme for chapter 6 is excitement because both Ellen and Amy are excited because Amy's Aunt Clare said that Amy and Ellen could have a double birthday at her house so they could have fun.
The theme for chapter 6 is also Frightness because when a Amy and Ellen heard a noise outside they both freaked out but Amy's Aunt Clare knew it was raccoons because they come to Amy's Aunt Clare's house all the time and found out it was 2 raccoons trying to get in the garbage.

Explanation:The theme is Anger because Aunt Clare gets really angry at Amy.When Aunt Clare gets to the attic the dolls were in the same spot they were the night they were killed.Aunt Clare got really mad at Amy because she thought Amy did it when she didn't.

Explanation: The theme is forgiveness since after a long quiet night, Aunt Clare came to Amy's room to talk about what had happened in the attic and apologized to Amy. Amy apologized to Aunt Clare and they both agreed that they were friends. That they should be able to tell each other anything with out each other freaking out.

Explanation: The theme is remembrance because at the beginning of chapter 10 the only thing Amy was doing was remembering what she did when she was at her own house.
The other theme is frustration because when Louann had heard that Amy was having a party, Louann started to cry because she wasn't invited. It is also frustration because Amy was mad at herself because she said she was having a party and she did not want Louann to find out about it .

Explanation: The only thing is that they were doing is that Amy was getting ready for her partie.
But when Aunt Clare was going to get a blanket for Ellen for when sleeps over. And Aunt Clare saw the ligh on in the dollhouse. But Amy was getting ready the whole time.

Explanation: Louann was excited to meet Amy's friends. Amy was happy and relieved with the way Louann acted at the party, she was glad that her friend Kathy was being so nice to her sister. Amy's friends were excited to see the dollhouse.
